With more than 20 years of experience across Fortune 100 organizations, Cynthia Borski is a finance transformation leader specializing in the intersection of finance, technology, and operational strategy. Throughout her career at Exelon Corporation and The Siegfried Group, she has led complex financial system implementations, organizational transformation initiatives, and cross-functional programs that improve financial transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Cynthia currently serves as Senior Manager of Financial System Transformation at Exelon Corporation, where she led the design and development of the company’s $300 million Oracle implementation for project data design and subledger integration. Known for building high-performing teams and aligning finance with enterprise technology strategy, she has successfully guided large-scale initiatives delivered on time and under budget while driving measurable efficiencies across finance and operations.
Her expertise spans financial systems transformation, change management, accounting operations, data governance, and executive stakeholder collaboration. Cynthia has also played a key role in SEC reporting modernization, treasury systems integration, and post-acquisition financial transformation efforts. A collaborative leader and mentor, she is passionate about developing talent, fostering cross-functional partnerships, and transforming financial systems into strategic business assets.
Education
Cynthia earned her Master of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, Marketing, and Technology Management from Northwestern University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Accounting from Purdue University. In addition, she is a Registered Certified Public Accountant (Illinois) and Prosci Certified, reflecting her strong foundation in both financial leadership and organizational change management.
